From helping us find a surfing school to arranging whale-watching and cooking lessons, they took care of everything. Asanka even personally drove us to Udawalawe and Ella, adding an incredible touch to our experience. The friendly atmosphere at the surf house made us feel right at home. The food was delicious, especially the avocado sandwich and papaya juice. We also loved the yoga classes offered on-site. we highly recommend this place for its exceptional hospitality and its proximity to the best surf spots and local amenities. The rooms, although basic, are clean and comfortable, with clean sheets and towels provided. there are plenty of areas to relax, such as hammocks and a pool.

Be aware that the train track runs directly next to the hotel, so there may be some noise when the train passes by.

As backpackers, we were delighted by the ideal location of the accommodation. Being just a stone's throw away from the sandy beach and multiple restaurants, we had easy access to everything we needed. The crystal clear sea provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and enjoyment throughout our stay. Additionally, the friendly and helpful staff assisted us in organizing various activities such as surfing lessons and whale-watching, making our experience truly memorable.

We did encounter some discomfort due to the lack of cooling air circulation in our room, as it was situated directly beneath the ceiling fan. Nonetheless, this minor inconvenience was quickly resolved by adjusting the placement of our bed.
